About the job

You will work in close collaboration with development, business stakeholders and our product management. Your main responsibility will be using available data to improve our products and the customer experience.

As the data analyst you help our customers to connect to our market place. You analyse their product data and advise them on how to map them to our data fields. You will work on extracting and analyzing metrics from our data. You will part of the team responsible for tools and dashboards that help our customers to get feedback on the quality of their data and improve performance.

About the position

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

  • Data modeling & data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Develop mapping logics between the different data source
  • Work with the team to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Assist in the Quality Testing of new system functionality
  • Special Projects as assigned


About you

  • Solid understanding of data: how to organize it, how to model it, how to distill insights from it, and how to visualize it

  • Masters, PhD, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Physics or related discipline)
  • Demonstrated experience with hands on data extraction, using data to make recommendations on process improvements
  • Strong technical skills regarding data analysis, statistics and programming. Strong working knowledge of, Python, Hadoop, SQL, and/or R.
  • 2 or more years of related work requiring strong analytical skills
  • Excellent English communication skills; the ability to convey your message with a diverse group of technical and non-tech people
  • Have impeccable written and verbal communication skills interacting Industry Knowledge: Understanding what drives the Fashion industry and how data can contribute to the success of a company/organization strategy.
